Latin America Coffees
Listen to a musical landscape.
See some of the places and people we’ve visited in our many travels to Latin America. Most of the coffee we buy comes from this region.
You can tell a lot about a coffee if you know where it’s from.
Every bean has a distinctive flavour that comes from its land of origin. Just like with wine, it’s the goût de terroir – “the taste of the place.”
Coffees from Latin America are celebrated for their great balance, medium body and clean finish. They typically display flavours of nuts, cocoa and soft spice in the cup. These consistent flavours are a result of the “washed” processing methods used by farms throughout the region. Most of the world’s coffee comes from here.
