These are the rules for the Starbucks x Harry Kane Foundation Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”) (“the Rules”):
The Prize Draw is promoted by Starbucks Coffee Company (UK) Limited (“Starbucks”) and is subject to these Rules. By participating in the Prize Draw, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Rules.
1 The Prize Draw is only open to residents of Great Britain aged 16 or over at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to participate:
(a) employees of Starbucks, Starbucks franchisees and employees of Starbucks’ franchisees;
(b) employees of any company responsible for redemption of prizes or for supplying prizes for the Prize Draw;
(c) other persons assisting with the Prize Draw or otherwise professionally connected with the Prize Draw; or
(d) any person entering via an agent or using the services of, or which is, an entity carrying on the business of entering (or advising on entering) prize promotions.
2 The Prize Draw opens at 01:00 pm on Monday 31 March 2025 and closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday 20 April 2025 (the "Closing Date"). Entries received after the Closing Date will be void and will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
3 To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must:
(a) follow @StarbucksUK on Instagram;
(b) tag a friend in the comments section of Starbucks giveaway post; and
(c) like the Starbucks giveaway post.
4 Only one (1) entry per Instagram account permitted.
Entry must be made directly by the person entering the Prize Draw. Entry made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are prohibited and all such entries will be disqualified.
Incomplete or illegible entries or entries not in accordance with these Rules will be rejected. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged, delayed, corrupted, misdirected or undelivered for whatever reason. Starbucks shall not be responsible for loss, delay or corruption of any data in transit or any delay or failure when attempting to participate in the Prize Draw. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
All entries and any related material must be free from sexist, racist, defamatory, obscene, anti-religious, homophobic, bullying, harassing, violent, sexual or otherwise unacceptable content.
5 There will be five (5) winners. Each winner will win one bundle containing:
(a) One football signed by Harry Kane;
(b) One £100 Starbucks Gift Card;
(c) One embroidered hat;
(d) One Stone Grey Siren Mug 12oz; and
(e) One Recycled Glass Cold Cup 16oz.
6 Each winner will be selected within 7 business days of the Closing Date.
7 Each winner will be selected at random, under independent supervision or via a computer program producing a verifiably random draw, from all valid entries received by the Closing Date.
8 Starbucks reserves the right to validate any prize-claim and may ask for proof of eligibility (such as proof of identity, address and/or age). Failure to meet the eligibility requirements will result in an entry being invalid and forfeiture of any prize.
9 Each winner will be notified by direct Instagram message (using the details provided at the time of entry) within 7 business days of the Closing Date. Within 21 days of such notification, each winner must claim the prize and provide all other information and/or documents requested by Starbucks. If a winner fails to claim the prize and/or provide all requested information and documents within this time period or cannot be contacted within 21 days of the draw taking place, Starbucks reserves the right to disqualify that winner and offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner (selected in accordance with the Rules) and thereafter until a winner on these terms is found.
10 Within 10 business days of a winner claiming the prize and providing all other requested information and fully completed documents by the required deadline, Starbucks shall post the prize to that winner.
11 If any winning entry later proves to be invalid or deemed void then Starbucks may re-award the relevant prize as it sees fit (but shall not be obliged to do so); specifically, the drawing of one or more reserve entries for any draw shall not of itself imply any obligation for Starbucks to award a prize to a reserve entry should a winning entry become invalid or deemed void.
12 Each prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative (in whole or in part) is available. Starbucks may substitute a product deemed to be an appropriate replacement and of equal or greater value in the place of any of the prizes.
13 Starbucks reserves the right to disqualify without notice any entrant if Starbucks believes, in its absolute discretion, that the entrant has acted fraudulently, tampered with or attempted to disrupt or tamper with the operation of the Prize Draw or acted in violation of these Rules (and any prize award shall be forfeited).
Starbucks reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend the Prize Draw if it considers it necessary to do so due to circumstances outside its reasonable control (including but not limited to fire, industrial action, war, political unrest, riots or changes of law).
14 Starbucks is not responsible for changes to any entrant’s e-mail address, postal address or any other details submitted by an entrant at the time of entry.
Starbucks’ decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
15 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (but not otherwise) Starbucks assumes no responsibility and is not liable for (i) any claims, losses, damages or expenses of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the Prize Draw or the allocation or use of a prize; (ii) (where applicable) the non-availability, loss or late receipt of any prize-claim, prize-notification or other communication, whether by reason of network-operator error, failed or corrupted transmission or otherwise; (iii) a prize lost, delayed or damaged in transit; or (iv) any taxes, fees, charges or other costs which a winner may be required to pay in connection with a prize.
16 Nothing in these Rules will limit Starbucks’ liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Nothing in these Rules shall affect an entrant’s statutory rights.
17 Starbucks shall use and process an entrant’s personal data in accordance with Starbucks Privacy Statement, which forms part of these Rules. Without prejudice to Starbucks’ data protection obligations under relevant law, the surname and county of the winner(s) shall be made available to anyone who requests it by writing to Starbucks Coffee Company (UK) Limited, Building 4 Chiswick Park, Chiswick High Road, London, W4 5YE within 90 days of the Closing Date. An entrant may object to the provision of its surname and county if he/she wins, by contacting Starbucks at the time of entry or any time before the Closing Date at the address listed above. Notwithstanding any such objection, Starbucks shall provide those details to the Advertising Standards Authority following receipt of any such request from that body.
18 The Prize Draw is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Instagram. By entering this Prize Draw you fully release Instagram from all liability arising out of the Prize Draw.
These Rules and any dispute arising out of these Rules shall be exclusively governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
